Studiometry 5.1 adds two-way iCal syncing for the first time. This will allow users to modify items in iCal or Studiometry and have the updates synced immediately in either direction. Several other features have been added as well, including time zone support for remote network connections, new Invoice ID management features, many new summaries features, and more. This update, which is a free update for registered Studiometry 5.x users, contains more than 50 new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.

  • Great update guys! Love the new ical features and we're glad to see the Addressbook syncing actually working on 10.5.x. Any plans for direct iPhone support in the future??

  • Noticeably less crashing here than 5.0.7. Wanted to say thank you for the update it seems much more stable and the new features are always welcome. Quick question: How do we use the TaxesWithValue tags? I don't really understand their use.

  • @ Anonymous: Glad to see you like the new features. We are working on direct iPhone integration with Studiometry and Accounted and plan on having something available soon.

@ CC: The TaxesWithValue tags are used exactly the same as the Taxes tags, but they will only show taxes that have a value that isn't equal to zero. See the note on the Taxes tags here.

  • hi, just wondering if its possible to sinc with MS Entrouage mail+calender instead of Apple Mail and iCal??

also, can you change the id number at all? if i switch to studiometry, i need to start job numbers from 485. can this be done so it starts from that number?

  • I'm still having problems with the new version. It takes a lot longer to load, save, pretty much do anything. It also slows down other applications that I may have open to the point I have to force quit Stuiometry. The only way I can have it run w/o problems is if it's the ONLY thing running. Am I the only one to experience this? I'm running Mac OS 10.5.2

I don't really want to go back to the old version, but I can't use this new version.

  • Hey guys--we tried the update, and it is SO much faster than the prior version 4.1.5 we were using. Well worth the upgrade price for us. Speed has been our biggest gripe.

As for iPhone integration, are you talking a web-client, or a iPhone native app? I downloaded the SDK and was going to learn Obj-C just to try and write an iPhone client that could export my time to Studiometry, but if you're working on something, I'll find some other use for my free time!
